Ciao! And Welcome to Gioia. We are Chiara & Jean-Emmanuel a duo of photographer and filmmaker in Provence, south of France. But also a married couple, two passionate about travel, Art, music, nature and discovering new cultures. After having been travelling for 13 years together and living in diferrent cities, we decided to settle down in beautiful Provence. Yes, by the Sea, under the song of cicadas. This is where we feel like home. Also, Provence is extremely inspirant for us.
After a career in engineering for Jean-Emmanuel and a master in marketing for Chiara, we have decided to dedicate to our passion. What we love is creating and sharing authentic and vibrant stories throught photography and filmmaking. Whether it is for fashion, destination weddings or events, we create visuals that tell your authentic story, without artifices. Frequent questions
How do we work as photo and video duo?
Most of the time, we work together as a photo and video duo. Chiara is the photographer and Jean-Emmanuel is the filmmaker. But we can also film together to have two angles and point of views. What makes a film more interesting. Also, we can have a second photographer and a second filmmaker if needed. We often advise it for events +150 guests or for large venues that needs a double shooter to cover the event properly.
Can we travel for events and shootings?
Yes of course. We love traveling and our suitcases are never far away. Even if we are based in the south of France, we often travel to Italy, Corsica, Spain, or outside Europe for work. If you are organising an event anywhere in the world, tell us everything about it in the contact form. We would love to talk about your project.
Do we have a drone?
Yes are using drones everytime it is possible during shootings and events. We are drone pilot certified and we can apply for autorizations when its needed. It’s very important for us to include photos or footage from above to contextualize and to show the beauty of a location with a ‘birds view’. Especially for Destination Weddings and shooting in gorgeous locations.
How we can create your dream visuals?
First of all, we have a first contact with you to understand your project, your needs, your universe and your vibe. If we are a good match and we both think we can create your dream photos and videos, we send you the contract. Once it is signed, we can start working together. Then, we realise the Artistic step : the moodboard, writing the scenario, listing everything we would need… After that, we realise the production. Whether it is for fashion, destination weddings or event, we realise your photos and videos according to your needs and goals. And then, we work on the post production : selection and editing of the photos. Selection of the footage, editing of the film. We always privilege the quality to the quantity. Then, we deliver you the final photos on a private gallery online. And we send you your film in 4K by a drive.

Also, we can advise you on the artistic side, according to our experience and our vision. By the way, if you are in Provence, we can have a coffee on a terrasse to talk about your project. If you are further, no worries, we can still share a coffee throught a video call! The most important for us before working together is the human side and making sure we can be a good match.
Do we speak english ?
Of course! We speak English fluently. We lived in beautiful and sunny Los Angeles, California. We also speak a bit of Italian. Feel free to enter into the English version of our website if it’s not already the case 🙂
